BURNINGBARREL GARDEN STOVES

• The BurningBarrel patio fire places are made of 2 and 3mm sheet metal and stand stably on a solid three-legged base.
• The removable fire basket can be emptied after the fire (after having cooled, preferably in the bin for non-recyclable waste).
• The bottom has an opening with a cover that can be used to sweep out the ashes from below.
• Thanks to the high chimney, you’ll have less trouble with smoke; no stinging eyes or stinking clothes.
• The chimney consists of 2 parts that slide together easily. It’s possible to lengthen the chimney with 1 part (accessories).
• You can add an ember catcher grate in the chimney pipe (accessories).

Versions

Choose from three sizes. Small, medium or large?

The smallest model fits well in smaller city gardens and roof terraces. The medium size is a good option for an average back yard. For a park-like garden or on a large (commercial) terrace, the bigger model is more suitable.

Choose from: painted steel, painted stainless steel and unpainted COR-TEN steel

• The painted steel barrels are pre-treated with a rust-resistant zinc primer and painted with a dark grey chiminea coating. Still, when exposed to the elements, painted steel chimineas will inevitably experience some corrosion despite this zinc primer. Maintenance is necessary, and if you want, you can touch up spots in the same color using a can of spray paint (accessories)
• The stainless steel barrels will remain free of rust under normal conditions. In order to ensure that the paint sticks properly, the chimineas have also been treated with a primer, and painted with a dark grey chiminea coating.
• The CorTen weathering steel barrels are unpainted and develop a rugged, rusty look after a few weeks. By spraying a mist of cleaning vinegar or salt water on a new barrel using a spray bottle, you can get the desired orange-brown colour within a day. The superficial layer of rust also serves a protection against further corrosion.

Standard closed model or with laser-cut diamond pattern?

The biggest BBKG series is also available with a surrounding lasered diamond pattern. This creates a magical light effect, but can be hampered in windy weather. The diamond-pattern version is a great choice for summer evenings and brings a magical atmosphere at outdoor events. But if you plan to use the barrel in windy spring or autumn or beneath a roof, the closed standard model is more suitable.

We offer special insulated roof duct sets that let you put the chimney through the roof in a waterproof and fireproof way. The chimney can also be led outside using 2 bends.  At your request, we’ll gladly tell you more about this option.
